My husband and I were in New York for business, and in Washington Park, we ended up stumbling upon a poet, Kimberly Osella Stch. What struck me was this poster, and that the words on the posters come straight out of her diary. And I love that personalness because I was somebody that kept diaries a lot in my youth. The message, love is a game in which whoever lasts longer loses. When I read it, it struck me, and I looked at her and I said, someday that'll be us, referring to me and my husband. What followed was such an interesting exchange of generational understanding and knowledge. She immediately said, no, you guys are gonna be together forever. And that, in essence, is what the interpretation she has is. But as a person that has been married for 30 years and with their life partner, what I read was when you say love is a game in which whoever lasts longer loses, meaning there's going to be a time when this man and I die. One of us will die before the other. Her interpretation was that of youth. Mine was of an older person having a lifetime of experience and her soulmate with her. I absolutely fell in love with the poster and the exchange. Thank you. Thank you for your words, because they are wise beyond your years. Vivian.
