Location

Where is the Art Café located?

The Art Café is mobile and operates at different locations and events within NYC. We can travel to you for private events.

What is the Art Café?

A small, mobile art café where you can sit down, make something, and enjoy a creative experience in a cozy café-inspired setting. The café is located inside a converted Ford E-450 passenger bus.

Do I need to know how to make art?

Not at all. Our activities are designed for beginners, and you don't need any previous art experience.

How many people can the Café accommodate?

Because the Art Café is intentionally small and intimate, capacity is limited. We currently accommodate up to 10 guests at a time so everyone has enough room to create comfortably.

Can I come by myself?

Absolutely! You don't need to come with a group to enjoy the Art Café. Come make something, take some photos, and enjoy some creative time at your own pace.

Reservations & Your Visit

Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are recommended because space is limited. Walk-ins may be available depending on the day and activity. Please keep in mind that we are a mobile Art Café on four wheels, so our location may vary. Check our Instagram for current and upcoming locations.

How long is a visit?

Experiences are designed to last approximately 90 minutes, giving you enough time to make your project without feeling rushed. Please arrive on time so you can make the most of your experience. Late arrivals do not change end time. Please plan to arrive on time so you can enjoy the full experience.

What does the price include?

Your booking includes the art activity and the materials needed for the experience. Any additional costs, such as optional upgrades or additional products, will be clearly stated upon arrival and selection.

What should I wear?

Some art activities can get messy. We recommend wearing something comfortable that you don't mind getting a little paint or art material on.

Can I take my artwork home?

Yes, depending on the activity. Some pieces may need additional time to be processed before they're ready to take home. Instructions and any follow-up information will be provided at the time of your visit.

Food & Drinks

Is the Art Café a restaurant?

No. The Art Café is an art experience designed to feel like a little café. Food and drinks are not the focus of the experience. We have water and a limited selection of beverages available on site. We may occasionally offer snacks.

Can I bring my own food or drink?

Outside food and drinks are not permitted during public Art Café sessions. Outside food and drinks may be permitted for private events.

The Bus

Does the Art Café move during my session?

No. The Art Café remains completely stationary for the entire duration of your session. We will never drive the vehicle while passengers are inside. The bus must be parked before guests enter and will remain parked until all guests have exited.

Can I bring a large bag or luggage?

Space inside the Art Café is limited, so please keep your belongings to a minimum. Large bags, luggage, or other bulky items may take up valuable space and may not be able to be accommodated. We recommend bringing only what you need for your visit.

Is there a restroom?

There is no restroom on the bus, but there is a place to wash your hands.

Age Requirements

Can children come?

Public Art Café sessions are 18+.

If you would like to book guests under 18, please book a private event.

Photobooth

Do I have to enter the bus to use the photobooth?

No. The photobooth is designed to be accessed directly from the rear of the bus, so you don't have to walk through the café area to use it.

Can I book the photobooth without doing an art activity?

Yes! You can coordinate a private photobooth visit, or keep up with our schedule to find out where the bus will be so you can stop by for a photo session.

Private Events

Can I book the Art Café for a private event?

Yes! Private bookings are available for birthdays, dates, celebrations, creative meetups, and other small gatherings. We can come to you or we can host you at a preferred location. Contact us with your idea and we'll let you know what we can accommodate.

Cancellations & Weather

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Your $15 registration fee is refundable if you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled session. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session are generally non-refundable.

We understand that unexpected circumstances happen. If an unforeseen or extenuating circumstance prevents you from attending, please contact us as soon as possible. We may request documentation when appropriate.

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a credit toward a future visit in place of a refund to your original payment method.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Because the Art Café is mobile, severe weather can affect our ability to operate safely. If weather conditions are severe enough that we cannot safely operate, we may cancel or reschedule sessions for the day. If your session is affected, we will contact you with information about your options.

Photography & Privacy

Will photos or videos be taken during my visit?

We may take photos and videos during Art Café sessions for our Instagram and other promotional content. We try to capture the experience discreetly and naturally. If you would not like to be photographed or recorded, please let us know when you arrive and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

HoneydewMoo Art

Can I buy HoneydewMoo prints on the bus?

Yes! A limited selection of HoneydewMoo prints and other merchandise will be available for purchase on site.
