Candle Care Instructions
First Burn:
Allow your candle to burn for at least 2 hours during the first use, ensuring the entire surface of the wax melts. This will help prevent tunneling and create an even burn for subsequent uses.
Wick Maintenance:
Always trim your wick before each use to extend your candle’s lifespan. A trimmed wick prevents excessive smoke and ensures a cleaner burn.
General Candle Care Tips
Burn Time:
For the best burn, allow your candle to burn in 3–4 hour intervals or until a full wax pool forms. This helps maintain an even burn and prevents tunneling.
Always burn your candle on an even, heat-safe surface, such as a coaster or tile, to protect the surface beneath it from heat.
Avoid Shelves & Enclosed Spaces:
Never burn your candle under a shelf or in an enclosed space, as this limits the oxygen supply to the wick, affecting its performance and preventing proper burning.
Safety First:
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always keep it away from flammable objects, pets, children, or anything that may catch fire.
Keep the wax pool free from wick trimmings, matches, or any other combustible materials.
Stop Use Promptly:
Discontinue use when only 1/4 inch of wax remains. Burning a candle with insufficient wax can overheat the jar and damage the candle.
Draft-Free Environment:
Always burn your candle in a draft-free area to prevent the flame from flickering and burning unevenly.
