Why Choose Our Beeswax and Coconut Oil Candles?
At HoneydewMoo, we believe in creating products that are as kind to the earth as they are to your home. Our candles are made with natural, renewable ingredients like beeswax and coconut oil, ensuring a cleaner, more sustainable burn. Here’s why you’ll love them:
Eco-Friendly & Sustainable
Both beeswax and coconut oil are natural and renewable resources that don’t release harmful toxins when burned, making them an eco-conscious choice for your home. Beeswax, in particular, is biodegradable and has a low carbon footprint compared to synthetic waxes. Coconut oil, a high-yield crop, further supports sustainability without compromising the environment.
Long-Lasting & Clean Burn
Our beeswax and coconut oil candles offer a longer burn time than most other types. Beeswax has a higher melting point, so it burns slower, while the coconut oil adds a slight softness, creating a smooth, consistent fragrance release. Together, they provide a long-lasting, clean burn with minimal soot and fewer volatile organic compounds (VOCs) than other waxes.
Air-Purifying Properties
Beeswax naturally emits negative ions when burned, which can help neutralize pollutants and allergens in the air, improving indoor air quality. While beeswax is effective for enhancing air quality, we recommend combining candles with air purifiers, proper ventilation, and reducing indoor pollution sources for optimal results.
Safe & Healthy
Our candles burn cleanly without releasing harmful chemicals. The coconut oil used in our candles is safe for consumption and doesn’t affect the fragrance or air quality when burned. This makes our candles a healthier option for your home, especially if you're sensitive to the fumes of conventional candles.
About Organic Beeswax
We prioritize using high-quality beeswax, but it’s important to note that the term “organic” is not regulated for beeswax. Since bees roam freely and may travel up to 8 miles to collect honey, it’s difficult to guarantee they avoid pesticide-exposed plants. Additionally, starter hives used by beekeepers may contain wax with pesticide residues. While we do our best to source from reputable beekeepers, please keep in mind that even "organic" beeswax may still contain trace amounts of pesticides.
